Abstract

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is often characterized by delays in fine motor development, which affects the ability to perform essential daily activities such as writing, holding objects, and other related skills. This article explores the effectiveness of playdough therapy as an intervention to support children with ADHD in developing fine motor skills, using a Systematic Literature Review approach. The review analyzes five relevant articles published between 2019 and 2023, selected based on criteria focusing on the use of playdough to enhance fine motor skills in children with ADHD. The findings from the Systematic Literature Review indicate that playdough therapy can significantly improve the fine motor abilities of children, including essential daily activities such as writing, grasping objects, and other fine motor tasks.
